Panel-delhi-2
3M+1F
F1-to aap Himachal se he.
As I have mentioned Himachal as my address,
Me- no ma'am, I am from Jhansi Himachal se mera Mtech chal rha he
M1- where in himachal
Me-told them
M1- so you've completed your Mtech
Me- told them
F1- so tell me something about yourself
Me- tell them about myself including my training and project
M2- so tell me about your project
Me- told them
M3- so how did you measure the efficiency of your wind turbine
Me- sir I have copied the concept from a group of Harvard researchers, they claimed that the
angle of attack in a humb back whale flipper can be 40% more steeper before the actual stall
takes place hence increases the lift force and decreases the drag force therefore the overall
efficiency of the turbine increases.
M3- ok tell me about your industrial training
Me- sir meri industrial training ek observatory type training thi jisme hame different instruments
or machines jo Indian railways me instmaal Hoti he vo observe krni thi, mjhe ek separate
machine or di gyi thi observation k liye jo ki turbosupercharger thi
M2- so what is a turbosupercharger
Me- it is used to Increase the volumetric efficiency and power output of the engine by increasing
the mass flow rate
M1- ek or koi use he iska batao kya he
Me- sir shayd yahi do he volumetric efficiency of power output increase krna or to mjhe pata nhi
M3- ok draw the diesel cycle on board with and without the use of supercharger
Me- sir cycle me to pata nhi kese Banega supercharger but i'll try, draw the Diesel cycle
M3- explain all the processes
Me- explained
M3- ok ab isme batao supercharger Kahn pr lagega
Me- sir exactly to mjhe pata nhi lekn heat addition k aas paas hi lagega,
Increases the cut off ratio bcoz I think it increases the power output but it was wrong
M3- achha Jese agr hmne heated air supply ki engine me to kya effect hoga power input me
Me- sir power input kam lagega heat krne k liye sir ko kiuki air pehle se hi heated he
M1- yahi to me pooch raha tha tumse ki ek or kya use he supercharger ka
Me- sir me vo pakad nhi paya tha ki aap kya Janna chah rhe the
M1- acha acha koi nhi Abhi to aa gya na
M2- tell me about different types of pumps and where they are used
Me- sir pump do type k hotey he ek to rotodynamic or doosra positive displacement,
rotodynamic aapke tb use hotey he jab pressure difference kam or volumetric flow rate zada
chahiye ho or positive displacement aapke tab use hotey he jab pressure difference zada or
volumetric flow rate kam chahiye ho, or positive displacement pump aapke viscous fluid k liye
use hotey he and rotodynamic kam viscous fluid k liye
M2- tell me about different parts of a rotodynamic pump
Me- drew them and named them all
M1- achha cavitation kya hota he
Me- told them
M1- Kahn se hota he metal erode
Me- at the eye or inlet of pump
M1- nhi kahin or hota he vo batao
Me- impeller blades me
M1- yes correct, ab agar cavitation Ko rokna he to kya krengy
Me- inlet pipe ki length Ko kam kr dengy
M1- nhi kch or batao hme pipe ki length utni hi rkhni he
Me- pressure losses kam krne ki koshish krengy inlet pipe me, smooth Bana dengy inlet pipe Ko
jisse uska friction factor kam ho jaye
M3- or kya kr sakte he
Me- sir Jese friction loss hmara (fLV^2/2*g*D) k equal hota he to hm ya to velocity Ko kam kr
sakte he ya pipe k Dia Ko increase kr sakte he taaki friction losses kam ho or impeller eye pr
zada se zada pressure ho
M1- hm pipe ka Dia or length change nhi kr sakte existing system he ye sb na to reservoir pump
k paas ja sakta he or na hi pump reservoir k paas keval operating conditions hi change ho sakti
he ab batao kese rokengy cavitation Ko.
Me- sir velocity hi kam kr sakte he fir bs
M1- nhi impeller constant speed se ghoom rha he
Me- to fir nhi pata sir or kch
M1- arre volumetric flow rate kam kr dengy
Me- to sir vo velocity se hi to related he, mene bataya to tha aapko
M3- yes yes you were correct
M1- achha agr cavitation hoga to kya problem ho jayegi
Me- sir pump me bubbles form hone lagengy jisse ki turbulence aa jayegi
M1- or kya problem Hoti he jo cavitation Ki vajah se aati he
Me- don't know sir bus turbulence or bubbles ka pata he jisse ki metal erode hone lagta he
pressure waves ki vajah se
M2- achha to tmne industrial training me or kya seekha
Me- sir kiuki meri training Indian railways me thi to usme mene different locomotives jo Indian
railways me use Hoti he unke codes k baare me seekha Jese agr code WDG he to G denotes for
goods locomotive
Agr WDP to P denotes for passenger locomotive
M2- achha wheels jo bante he railways me vo kisse bante he
Me- forging se
